Spaix PipeCalc – Duty Point Calculation for Centrifugal Pumps
Spaix PipeCalc features the duty point calculation for the hydraulic selection of centrifugal pumps. The software contains the flow rate determination for different applications according to international standards and the friction loss calculation for unbranched systems.
Spaix PipeCalc is available as desktop and web application. The program can be also used as stand-alone version - independently from a Spaix pump selection program.

Flow Rate Determination
- included flow types: sewage water, drinking water and storm water
- consideration of international standards
- the user has access to statistc and default data stored in the program
- flow rate determination sewage water occurs corresponding to EN 12056 and DIN 1986
- calculation of storm water corresponding to EN 12056 und DIN 1986
- determination of drinking water corresponding to DIN 1988 while considering the simultaneity of water extraction
Calculation of Total Head and Flow
- calculation of pressure loss in unbranched pipe systems
- users can choose between models of COLEBROCK or HAZEN WILLIAMS
- number and structure of available pipe systems can be provided by the user
- given selection options: standard piping, line system, submersible pump system, cooling system, drinking water supply system, closed circulation system, parallel operation
- determination of elements of each single line and calculation of the resulting single losses and the total loss of the respective line
